UNBUILT – Ek Nirakaar Swapna
A thought when converts into a built form becomes a contributor to architecture. The journey has many intermediate destinations and not all thoughts become a built form. These thoughts when put together sometimes can always inspire a dream. A project that got no appreciation but you think could have been a milestone, a project which could have become a Marvel if shown the light. Here is an opportunity to showcase the Nirakaar…to the world.
Let’s showcase our UNBUILT to make all aware of what is our competency and calibre.
Submission Requirements
For Professionals-
Three A3 sheets per entry (not exceeding 10mb in total in .jpeg/.jpg format) highlighting:
- The project brief
- The concept
- The elements of design
- Brief description of your architectural practice and your ideologies.
- Brief introduction and photograph of the Author(s)
For Final year Students and Fresh graduates
Three A3 sheets per entry (not exceeding 10mb in total in .jpeg/.jpg format) highlighting:
- Aim and objective of the thesis
- Highlighting the design approach and innovation.
Please incorporate sketches, illustrations and graphics to support your designs.

DESIGN COMPETITION- House on the Lake
A creative brain never rests, creativity is a form of self-expression for a designer.
Design a retreat for a designer that gives rest to the persistent creativity that flows into him/her. We would like to see unconventional spaces that relaxes yet stirs enough to provide creative fodder. One particular element is employing natural stone as medium of expression.

- Space to sleep under the stars
- Hammocks
- Terraces and Decks
- Jetty
- Landscape Areas
- Service Areas
Submission Guidelines-
- One A2, Landscape- 1920 x 1080 pixels
- Concept text limit is 500 words

- Document file format: PDF

PHOTOGRAPHY & SKETCHING - Emotions of Architecture
Inviting entries for photographs and sketches under the mentioned categories- Bazaars, Courtyards and Sklights. Looking for submissions that are striking, well-crafted and of exceptional quality that communicate a visual narrative through excellent technical and creative skills.
The competition aims to uncover the emotions of fundamental architectural spaces.
Submission Requirements:
An A3 sheet, composed of:
- Main Photograph / Sketch
- Concept
- Name and picture of the Photographer / Sketcher
Photo Guidelines:
- Image data files created with any device capable of taking still images, including smartphones and digital still cameras.
- Images that have been retouched by using camera apps, photo editing apps, other software, etc. will be accepted.
- Both colour and monochrome images will be accepted.
- File size: up to 15 MB of image data per work
- Image data file format: JPEG/150 dpi recommended
